Spread over a vast area in « islands » amidst the recent urban sprawl, the vestiges of Carthage are not readily accessible. Two archaeologists working on this prestigious site have therefore undertaken to act as guides for an archaeological walk, taking three circuits to cover most if not all the archaeological vestiges of the ancient capital.
Economical (in terms of effort!) instructive and pleasant; richly illustrated with photographs plans and sketches.
